CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY
Giving plastic a useful next life.
A practical circular economy starts with what we do with materials after their first use.
At DC Plastics Recycling, we sort, wash and process post-consumer LDPE film into recycled pellets. Working closely with Coxen Plastix, we connect the recovery of post-consumer plastic with the manufacture of new film and sheeting products.
Recycling and manufacturing, connected
The circular economy aims to keep materials in use and recover their value. Our contribution is practical: processing suitable recovered film into pellets, then using recycled material to manufacture new film products.
DC Plastics Recycling
DC Plastics Recycling (Pty) Ltd sorts, washes and processes post-consumer LDPE film into recycled pellets.
Coxen Plastix
Coxen Plastix (Pty) Ltd converts recycled LDPE into blown-film products, particularly construction sheeting.
The companies are separate legal entities with shared shareholders and management, operating closely together across recycling and manufacturing. Material formulations and recycled content vary by product and specification.
Let’s build practical partnerships
We would love to work with businesses interested in keeping suitable plastic in productive use. Whether you have LDPE film to recover, need recycled-material products or want to explore a recovery project, let’s start a conversation.
Have LDPE film to recover?
Tell us what material you generate, how it is separated, the level of contamination and your typical volumes. We can discuss suitability and practical next steps.
Looking for useful products?
Explore film and sheeting made by Coxen Plastix with recycled material where appropriate for your application. The Coxen team can help match the product to your specification.
Want to work together?
We welcome conversations with businesses, recyclers and recovery partners about improving material separation and creating workable supply relationships.
Start with the material. Build from there.
For a recycling partnership enquiry, please share:
- The type of film and how it has been used.
- Clear photos and details of contamination or mixed materials.
- Your approximate monthly volume and location.
- How the material is stored, packed or baled.
We’ll discuss material suitability, quality requirements, volumes and logistics with you before agreeing an arrangement.
